2023 Spring Capsule

With spring just around the corner, I wanted to put together a fun, current, but still timeless and versatile list of items together. I wanted to make sure it incorporated plenty of color because I believe that capsule items don’t have to be in the traditional neutrals. Each items can still have so much personality and fun while still being easy to style! Spring is a time of bursting color and varying weather, so layers and brightness were a major focus. I highly recommend substituting any of these items with what you already have in your closet and only buying the items that fill a big gap in need within your existing wardrobe for the most sustainable approach! Here’s what’s on my recommended capsule:

  1. The Long-Sleeve Supima® Square-Neck Bodysuit in Lapis Blue - Everlane

  2. V-neck bodysuit in Flax and Sundried - Aritzia

  3. Halter sweater-tank in Heather River - J. Crew

  4. Scoop-neck long sleeve with cutout in Black - Sunday Best

  5. Cropped one-shoulder top in Bright Red - Babaton

  6. Blue and white oversized button up - similar here

  7. T-shirt bodysuit in Citrine Orange - Babaton

  8. Baby Alpaca-Wool Cropped Cardigan in Ivory - Quince

  9. Chunky Wool Knit Sweater in Bright Green - & Other Stories

  10. Seersucker Boxer Short in Nutria/Off white and Relaxed Denim Shorts in Vintage Sunbleached Blue - Everlane

  11. Flared Linen Trousers in Beige - & Other Stories

  12. Straight Low Waist Trousers in Green - & Other Stories

  13. Washable Silk Skirt in Champagne - Quince

  14. Belted Double Breasted Trench Coat - Ralph Lauren

  15. Pebbled leather medium shoulder bag in Ocean Beach - Kate Spade

  16. Silk scarf in White and Navy - Banana Republic

  17. Chunky Chelsea Leather Boots in Vanilla - & Other Stories

  18. Gingham kitten heels in Black and White - similar here

  19. Midform Sandals in Black - Teva

I like my current capsule because the combinations are endless with just these pieces alone! The layering is fantastic because we go from sunny days to chillier nights, so I never have to feel to hot or too cold. I enjoy mixing textures and colors for variety and interest, and the sheer brightness is refreshing after dull winter colors.

Now, you don’t need to go out and buy all of these new clothes! This is what I’ve found personally in my wardrobe already that I go to the most. Definitely use this as more of my personal suggestions when you’re noticing missing pieces in your current wardrobe.
