Seattle Packing List

I find packing for trips to be so stressful, especially when there will be a lot of walking and colder weather. Maybe it’s because I’m used to the desert where I live! But who knows?

I think the clothes I brought for this trip were sufficient! The weather ranged from 50 degrees and cloudy to 73 and sunny, so the layers really came in handy! Plus, the mixing and matching capabilities of what I brought made me feel secure that I can come up with many looks from more casual to dressy if the need arose.

For shorter trips, I like to take my backpack and a cute tote that I use throughout the day to carry my camera, wallet, water, etc. I pack my clothes using one small and one medium compression cube by Thule. They’re a bit pricey but the quality and looks are there!

In the small compression cube, I pack my undergarments and a t-shirt/shorts for sleeping. I usually also include a small plastic bag to separate the dirty items but still keep them in the same cube. In the medium cube, I tend to pack the rest of my clothes by rolling my tops and laying my bottoms folded flat either on bottom or top.

It looks like a lot of clothes for a 3.5 day trip, but I ended up using everything and it was pretty lightweight! My camera was the heaviest thing, honestly.
